Is Expo '70 Commemorative Park ever closed to the public?
For the rest of 2026, on 31 October–1 November (KAMIGATA EXPO PARK FES). Only festival ticket holders can enter; the Expo All Pass and ordinary advance tickets do not work, and the Tower of the Sun interior is closed.
When is Ramen EXPO 2026?
On 20 weekend days from 21 November to 30 December 2026, in six sessions of 10 shops each — 60 shops in total. The venue is Festival Plaza, open 11:00–21:00 (until 16:00 on 21 Nov). Entry to the venue is free, park admission is required, and ramen is paid for with tickets. See our Ramen EXPO 2026 guide.
Can I see the Tower of the Sun lit up at night?
Yes. On 20 days between 22 November and 30 December, projection mapping is shown on the tower from 17:00 to 21:00. Watching is free; park admission is required.
