How reliable are the opening hours?

Hours are structured from the survey we were given and are a guide, not a guarantee. For 19 shops the closing day could not be confirmed and is marked as such. Independent shops close early once the broth or the day's stock runs out.

Can I check what is open right now?

Yes. The 3D map of Suita shows the city with the current time and weather, and you can push the clock forward to see which places would still be open later.

Halal

Yakiniku and horumon are high-risk.
Horumon means offal, and pork offal is common. Beef in Japan is not halal-slaughtered unless a restaurant specifically imports halal meat. Dipping sauces and marinades normally contain mirin, sake or soy sauce brewed with alcohol, and pork and beef are cooked on the same grill.

What to ask

Cross-contamination on the grill is the point most easily missed: even if you order only beef, the grill and the tongs are shared. If that matters to you, yakiniku is not a good choice in Suita.

No shop in these lists has been confirmed as halal-certified. Where a shop is not marked, treat it as not confirmed rather than as safe.

Last verified: 2026-08-01 This list comes from a survey supplied to us; addresses were converted to coordinates with the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan address API and all fall inside Suita City. Hours, closing days and access are structured from the Japanese source and then rendered per language, so no Japanese free text appears in the translated versions — shop names are kept in Japanese so you can match them against the sign. We do not republish third-party rating scores. No shop has been confirmed as halal, so none is marked as such. Photos, videos and our own notes will be added over time.
